Logan Movie Synopsis:
Story of the movie “Logan” is set in the future of 2029 where there are rarely any mutants alive on the planet. At such a time, James Logan Howlett, popularly known as Logan is probably one of the very few mutants alive on this planet. Nevertheless, he has aged greatly because of the adamantium that is fused into his bones. He now lives with the identity of a chauffeur. He along with another mutant Caliban lives in the borders of Mexico hidden from the world. Here he cares for a professor who has a neurodegenerative disease.

One day, a nurse Gabriela approaches Logan and asks him to escort her and Laura, who is an eleven-year-old girl, to safety at Eden. After a few days into the job, Logan finds out that Gabriela is murdered. Logan along with the professor and Laura, escape the killers Donald Pierce and the Reavers. Unfortunately, Caliban is captured and is forced to use his mutant powers to track the others. Meanwhile, Logan and Xavier learn the fact that Transigen was producing mutants as a part of the X-23 project. They also found out that those children became uncontrollable when grown up. Therefore, after the completion of the X-24 project, they were left to die. Gabriela had a hand in rescuing those mutant kids and she also smuggled Laura. Later, they realise that Laura is the daughter of Logan, as his DNA was used to breed her.

In the meantime, the Reavers find out the three. But Xavier is able to freeze them which allows Logan to kill them easily. The three of them now leave the city and take shelter with a local family after helping them in an incident. Meanwhile, Logan and Will (the owner of the house) go out to repair a burst pipe. Taking this as an opportunity, an X-24 attacks Xavier, Will’s wife and son and seizures Laura. When Logan arrives, he finds the dead Xavier.

Caliban helps Logan and Laura escape by destroying his van with grenades. Now, Will comes in between Logan and X-24 and tries to help them to escape the area. Will dies in this process and Logan moves out after burying Xavier. Logan wakes up to find himself being treated in a clinic. Laura convinces Logan to rest and she drives the van towards Eden.

Meanwhile, Logan and Laura arrive at Eden which is a safe harbour run by Rictor and the fled Transigen subjects. Logan gets to know that the children there are planning to travel to the Canadian borders and assigns Laura’s safety to them and he moves in his own way. However, the children are seized by the Reavers during their journey. Meanwhile, Logan uses a serum and heals all his past injuries. He then fights the Reavers and kills them but soon loses the power from the serum while confronting Zander Rice who is the Transigen project’s head. Rice later reveals that his Transigen project is the reason for the destruction of the mutants. He also tells that he is doing so to control their population shape them according to his own needs. He also explains how Logan killed his father. Logan kills Rice but X-24 pounces on him. The children do their best to kill Pierce as well as the rest of the Reavers. Later Logan fights with X-24 and gets a setback from him and is injured. Laura uses Logan’s bullet to kill X-24. Logan advises Laura that she should not be the product that she was intended to before dying in her arms. Laura, along with the other children mourns the death of Logan and bury him. Laura creates a remark of love and continues her journey to the Canadian borders to have a new beginning.
